Jovito

Jovito is a photography series capturing my childhood best friend, Vito, inside his apartment in Madrid. What started as a random night with a 10year-old digital camera became both a documentation of his presence and a reflection of one of our favorite things to do together: taking photos of each other.

Shot mostly using direct flash and available lighting, the images lean into grain, dim interiors, and slightly imperfect framing to preserve the atmosphere of the night as it actually felt.
